2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files or similar technologies stored on a device when a website or web application is used.

They may be used to:

  • keep a user signed in;
  • remember preferences;
  • maintain secure sessions;
  • understand website usage;
  • improve performance;
  • support analytics;
  • support marketing where consent has been given.

Similar technologies include browser local storage and session storage, which InsYte also uses and which are covered by this policy.

3. Types of cookies we may use

STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES

These cookies are required for the website or application to function properly. They may be used for authentication, login, security, fraud prevention, session management, account functionality, load balancing and preserving privacy choices.

These cookies do not require consent where they are strictly necessary for the service requested by the user.

ANALYTICS COOKIES

These cookies help us understand how visitors use InsYte, including pages visited, navigation, feature usage, errors, performance and general website interaction.

Analytics cookies are only used where the required user consent has been obtained.

FUNCTIONAL COOKIES

These cookies may remember optional preferences or enable additional functionality that is not strictly necessary. Where legally required, these are only used after consent.

MARKETING COOKIES

These cookies may be used for advertising, campaign measurement, remarketing, audience measurement and marketing attribution.

Marketing cookies are only used where the required user consent has been obtained.

4. Cookies used by InsYte

The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies actually in use on the InsYte website and web application.

No analytics, functional or marketing cookies are currently set by InsYte. If any are introduced they will be added to this table and will only load after consent.

5. Third-party technologies

InsYte may use third-party service providers whose technologies place or access cookies or similar technologies.

The providers actually in use today are:

  • Supabase (authentication, account database and session management) — strictly necessary, first-party browser storage on the InsYte domain.
  • Google Fonts (webfont stylesheet used for site typography) — no cookies are set by InsYte for this purpose.

No analytics provider, marketing provider, advertising pixel, error-monitoring provider or payment provider is currently loaded on the InsYte website or web application.

If a payment provider is introduced for Credit purchases, or an analytics provider is introduced, this policy and the table above will be updated before those technologies are used, and non-essential technologies will only load after consent.

6. Cookie consent

When you first access insyte.info we show a clear cookie-consent interface offering Accept all, Reject non-essential and Manage cookies.

No non-essential cookies or similar technologies are set before you have made a choice. Reject is presented with the same prominence as Accept.

7. Manage cookies

Selecting Manage cookies opens a preferences panel where each category can be controlled:

  • Strictly necessary — always active and not switchable off;
  • Analytics — on or off;
  • Functional — on or off;
  • Marketing — on or off.

8. Default state

For first-time visitors, Analytics, Functional and Marketing are all OFF. These categories are never defaulted to on.

9. Withdrawing consent

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer, which reopens the cookie-preferences panel.

The Cookie Policy is also linked from the footer at https://insyte.info/cookies.

10. The website and the web application

The same cookie choices apply to the InsYte website (insyte.info) and the InsYte web application (app.insyte.info).

Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie scoped to the .insyte.info domain, so a single choice is recognised on both hosts. Where a shared parent domain is not available (for example a preview or local address), the choice is stored in that host's own browser storage and is made again on the other host.

11. Consent record and versioning

We record the categories you selected, the date and time of your choice, and the cookie consent version. We do not collect additional identifying information purely to record a cookie choice.

The current cookie consent version is 1.

If the cookie categories or purposes materially change, the version is increased and you will be asked to make a new choice. Previous consent is never silently extended to unrelated new purposes.

12. How to control cookies

You can change your InsYte cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link available on the website.

You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Blocking certain strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website or web application from functioning correctly.

13. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies used by InsYte change or where legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page and the Last Updated date will be changed accordingly.
