About Insyte
What Insyte is, who it is for and how it works alongside the systems you already use.
Insyte is an AI-driven business growth and search intelligence platform designed primarily for small and medium-sized businesses.
It brings relevant information from your website, search performance, analytics, marketing and other supported business data sources into one place.
Instead of expecting you to repeatedly move between different platforms and work out what all the figures mean, Insyte helps analyse the evidence in the context of your business, identify what deserves attention and direct you towards practical next actions.
Insyte is not simply another reporting dashboard. Its purpose is to help turn business and digital evidence into useful direction.

Insyte is primarily designed for SMEs and the people responsible for growing them.
That can include business owners, directors, managers, marketing teams and people responsible for a company's website or digital performance.
You do not need to be an SEO specialist or data analyst to use Insyte.
The aim is to take information that can otherwise be spread across different systems and present the important findings in understandable business language.
No.
Insyte is designed so that an SME owner or manager can understand the important findings without having to become an SEO or analytics expert.
The underlying data may come from specialist systems such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics, but Insyte's role is to help interpret the available evidence and turn it into understandable priorities and actions.
More detailed evidence can still be available when required.

Learns — Insyte builds an understanding of your business from the information available to it, including your business profile, websites, objectives, connected sources and relevant historical evidence.
Assimilates — Insyte brings relevant evidence from different sources together rather than expecting you to interpret every platform separately. This can help identify relationships, changes, issues and opportunities that deserve investigation.
Directs — Insyte turns the available evidence into clear priorities and practical next actions.
The objective is to help answer four questions:
- What is happening?
- Why might it matter?
- What deserves my attention?
- What should I consider doing next?
Insyte does not claim that every relationship between different data signals proves causation. Its direction stays grounded in the evidence available.
You can continue to use the individual systems yourself.
The problem for many SMEs is that important information is spread across different platforms. A business may need to check Search Console, Analytics, advertising, website health, competitor information and its own business results, then compare those different sources manually.
Insyte is designed to reduce that fragmentation. It brings relevant supported evidence together, uses AI to help interpret it and highlights what deserves attention.
The advantage is not simply having more data. It is having relevant data brought together and turned into clearer business direction.

SEO & Website Performance
How Insyte works with Search Console and Analytics, and how to decide what to fix first.
Insyte is designed to bring your SEO and related business intelligence into one place.
Instead of repeatedly moving between separate platforms to find and compare information, Insyte brings relevant evidence together, analyses it and turns it into clearer actions.
This can include genuine information from sources such as Search Console, Analytics, Website Health and competitor evidence where those sources are available and connected.
The original services remain the underlying sources of data. Insyte does not pretend to replace them. Its purpose is to reduce the work involved in assembling and interpreting the information yourself.

Google Analytics and Google Search Console are valuable systems, but they answer different questions and are normally viewed separately.
Search Console provides evidence about how your website performs in Google Search, including queries, impressions, clicks and average search position.
Google Analytics provides information about what happens when people visit your website.
Insyte brings relevant evidence from these and other supported sources together. It then helps interpret that evidence in the context of your business, identify what deserves attention and provide clearer direction about what to investigate or do next.
It bridges the gap between collecting data and deciding what to do with it.
No. Insyte is not intended to replace them.
Google Analytics and Google Search Console remain important original sources of data.
Insyte acts as an intelligence layer above supported data sources. It can bring relevant information together with other evidence, such as website health and competitor information, and help turn that information into priorities and actions.
Google Search Console primarily tells you about your website's performance in Google Search before somebody arrives at the site. This can include:
- search queries
- impressions
- clicks
- average Google Search position
Google Analytics helps you understand activity after visitors arrive on your website. Depending on your configuration, this can include:
- users
- visits
- pages
- engagement
- configured events and conversions
Looking at both can provide more context than looking at either source alone.
Insyte is designed to help bring relevant evidence from both systems into the same intelligence environment.

There is no single SEO action that works for every small business.
A sensible starting point is to make sure search engines can properly discover and understand the website, then examine the searches that already produce impressions and clicks, the pages people reach and the business results that matter.
Important areas can include:
- technical website health
- crawlability and indexing
- useful content
- relevant search topics
- page structure
- search performance
- mobile usability
- competitor activity
- business outcomes
Insyte helps by bringing relevant evidence together and prioritising the areas that appear to deserve attention.

Not every SEO warning has the same importance.
A technical audit can identify numerous issues, but fixing every warning in numerical order is rarely the best use of an SME's time.
Issues that prevent important pages from being crawled, indexed or used properly will normally deserve greater attention than minor cosmetic warnings. Changes affecting important pages, significant search performance or customer journeys may also warrant investigation.
Insyte is designed to help prioritise genuine findings so you can understand which issues deserve attention rather than simply presenting a long list of warnings.
Learn more: Which SEO Problems Should I Fix First?
Website Health looks at technical and structural conditions that can affect how effectively people and search systems use your website. Examples can include:
- broken links
- redirects
- crawlability
- indexing instructions
- page structure
- metadata
- canonical information
- other detectable technical issues
A technically healthy website does not guarantee high search rankings. However, technical problems can make it more difficult for search systems to discover, understand or use important pages.
Insyte identifies genuine website findings and helps prioritise what deserves attention.
More traffic does not automatically mean better business performance. Possible explanations can include:
- visitors arriving for topics that do not match commercial intent
- traffic reaching the wrong pages
- problems with the customer journey
- unclear calls to action
- differences between the audience arriving and the audience the business actually wants
- conversion or outcome tracking not being configured correctly
The important point is not to assume the cause from traffic figures alone.
Where the relevant evidence is available, Insyte can bring search, traffic and business-outcome information together to help identify what deserves further investigation.
Learn more: Why Is My Website Traffic Increasing but Sales or Enquiries Aren't?
Useful competitor analysis is not simply about estimating how much traffic another website receives. It can involve looking at areas such as:
- overlapping search topics
- competing pages
- content gaps
- website structure
- search opportunities
- observable changes
Insyte's competitor functionality can bring supported competitor evidence alongside your own business evidence.
Insyte does not have access to a competitor's private analytics or business systems. The purpose is to use publicly available and otherwise legitimately available evidence to help identify opportunities and areas worth investigating.

AI Search
What AI search visibility means, how it differs from readiness, and what can honestly be measured.
AI Search Visibility describes observable evidence that a business, website or its content appears, is mentioned or is cited in AI-assisted search and answer experiences.
This is different from simply having a website that is technically ready to be discovered and understood.
AI search is developing rapidly and different providers expose different amounts of evidence.
Insyte therefore separates AI search readiness from observed AI search visibility, and only reports visibility where genuine observable evidence is available.
Traditional SEO is concerned with helping search engines discover, understand and surface relevant website content in conventional search results. Performance can be evaluated using evidence such as impressions, clicks, queries and average search position.
AI-assisted search experiences can instead construct answers from multiple sources and may mention or cite websites within those answers.
There is considerable overlap. A technically accessible website, clear business information and useful, authoritative content are important foundations for both.
However, performing well in conventional search does not guarantee that a business will be cited or mentioned by an AI service.
Learn more: SEO vs AI Search Visibility: What's the Difference?
AI search readiness examines whether a website is positioned so that relevant search and AI systems can discover and understand its public information. This can include factors such as:
- crawlability
- indexing
- site structure
- content clarity
- business and entity clarity
- structured information
- website health
Readiness is not the same as visibility. A website can be well prepared and still not appear in a particular AI answer.
There is currently no single universal report covering every AI search and answer provider. Different providers expose different levels of information, and an answer can also vary according to the question being asked.
Insyte takes an evidence-first approach. It does not convert website readiness into a fictional AI ranking.
Where genuine observable AI visibility evidence is supported, it is clearly identified as such. Otherwise, Insyte assesses relevant readiness factors without claiming that those factors show your business is being mentioned or cited.
Learn more: How Do You Know If Your Business Appears in AI Search?
No.
Search & AI Readiness evaluates relevant characteristics of your website.
It does not guarantee that a particular AI system will mention, cite or recommend your business.
Insyte deliberately distinguishes readiness from observed visibility.
AI can help analyse larger amounts of relevant evidence than a business owner may want to examine manually.
For example, it can help compare search, website and other available signals, identify patterns worth investigating, summarise findings and turn technical information into clearer explanations.
Insyte uses AI as part of this intelligence process.
The AI stays grounded in the genuine evidence available to Insyte and does not invent missing data or claim certainty where the evidence does not support it.

Business Outcomes, Competitors & Ask Insyte
Connecting digital performance to the results your business actually cares about.
Business Outcomes allow Insyte to understand what ultimately matters to the individual business. That outcome will vary. Examples can include:
- sales
- orders
- leads
- enquiries
- bookings
- appointments
- registrations
- sign-ups
Where genuine outcome data is connected, Insyte can consider digital performance alongside those outcomes.
Insyte does not invent an outcome or treat missing outcome data as zero.
The first step is defining the outcome that actually matters to your business. That could be an order, enquiry, booking, registration or another measurable action.
The relevant source then needs to provide genuine outcome evidence.
Where this is available, Insyte can bring search, website and outcome evidence together to provide additional business context. This can help identify relationships worth investigating.
It does not show that a particular search query caused a particular sale, or that SEO alone produced an outcome.

Competitor Intelligence helps place your own performance into a wider market context.
Rather than analysing your website in complete isolation, Insyte can use supported competitor evidence to identify areas such as overlaps, gaps and opportunities worth investigating.
The evidence is limited to information Insyte can legitimately obtain. Insyte does not have access to competitors' private analytics or confidential business data.
Ask Insyte allows you to ask questions about your business using the evidence available to Insyte.
Instead of deciding which analytics system might contain the answer, finding the appropriate report and interpreting it yourself, you can start with the business question.
Insyte can then use relevant available evidence to help answer it.
The quality and scope of an answer depend on the data genuinely available to Insyte.
No.
Ask Insyte is limited by the information and evidence available to it.
If the necessary data is not connected or does not exist, Insyte makes that limitation clear rather than inventing an answer.

Connections & Your Data
What you can connect, what happens when you connect Google, and what happens if you disconnect.
Insyte is designed to work with multiple relevant business and digital data sources.
The current supported sources and their availability are always shown in the Connections area of the product.
Examples of source categories can include:
- search performance
- website analytics
- advertising
- website analysis
- competitor evidence
- business outcomes
- other supported business and marketing sources
Insyte uses Google's official authorisation process.
You authenticate with Google and approve the permissions presented by Google.
Insyte then uses the authorised connection to access the Google accounts or properties you select, subject to the permissions granted.
Insyte never asks you to provide your Google password directly.
No.
Google authentication takes place with Google.
Insyte does not need your Google password in order to use an authorised Google connection.
Insyte's Google integrations are intended to retrieve authorised information for analysis rather than make unauthorised changes to your Google services.
The exact permissions are always the ones Google presents to you at the point of authorisation, and you can review or withdraw them in your Google account at any time.
A connection can require attention for reasons such as expired or revoked authorisation, changed permissions or provider-side issues.
Insyte shows the genuine state of that connection rather than pretending that it remains active.
Where appropriate, you may be asked to reconnect, reauthorise or select the relevant account or property again.
Historical evidence already stored by Insyte is not automatically treated as current simply because a live connection has stopped.
Disconnecting a source stops future synchronisation from that source.
Existing historical evidence, completed reports, audits and other records that Insyte retains are not automatically deleted simply because the live connection is disconnected.
Any applicable retention and privacy requirements still apply.
Multiple Websites
Running several websites from one business account without mixing their evidence.
Yes.
A business can have multiple websites within one Insyte business account.
Each website keeps its own relevant property mappings, evidence, audits, competitors and recommendations.
The business has one login and one shared business-level credit balance. This means a company does not need a completely separate Insyte account and separate credit wallet for every website it operates.
No. Once your Google account has been authorised with Insyte, that authorisation can support the Google properties available to the account.
Each website still needs to be mapped to the correct Search Console, Analytics and other relevant properties so that its evidence remains separate.
We are streamlining this process so businesses managing several websites through the same Google account do not have to repeat unnecessary authentication steps.
No.
Each website keeps its own website-specific evidence and mappings.
When you select a particular website, Insyte uses the evidence associated with that website.
Where an all-websites view is deliberately used, information may be considered across properties but remains attributable to the appropriate website.
Credits, Pricing, Reviews & Reports
How pay-as-you-go credits work, what they are used for, and what you get for free.
Insyte uses a pay-as-you-go credit model rather than requiring a compulsory monthly subscription.
You purchase credits and use them for supported credit-consuming research and analysis when required.
Current credit pack prices are always shown on the Credits page.
No compulsory monthly subscription is required.
Insyte uses credits so you can purchase supported deeper analysis when you need it.
The current introductory offer is 50 free credits, £0 to join, no card required, once per verified business.
The free credits belong to the business account and are not multiplied by adding more websites.
Under the current Insyte rules, the introductory 50 free credits do not have an expiry date.
Credits are used for supported actions that require deeper research, analysis or initial source setup where the current pricing rules specify a charge.
Routine dashboard viewing does not itself consume credits.
You are shown the credit cost before a chargeable action is confirmed, and an optional paid analysis is never charged without your confirmation.
Insyte follows a simple principle: no usable, saved result means no net credit charge.
If a paid analysis fails before producing and saving the usable result, you are not left with the net charge for that failed analysis.
The Weekly Review is a free scheduled review of available evidence.
It is designed to give you a concise view of important recent changes, opportunities and actions using the evidence Insyte already has.
It does not automatically initiate paid research.
Completed Weekly Reviews are retained in Reports and can be reopened without being charged again.
The Monthly Insyte Audit is a deeper analysis that you start yourself. It is a paid credit action.
Before confirming it you see the current price, your existing credit balance, the expected balance after the charge and what you will receive.
It is not automatically purchased every month.
Once a completed audit has been saved, reopening that completed report does not require buying the same audit again.
No.
A paid result that has already been completed and saved in Reports can be reopened without charging again merely to view the same saved result.
A new analysis or updated investigation may be a separate credit-consuming action.

Security & Control
Who can see your data, what Insyte will and will not do, and the limits of any SEO or AI claim.
Yes. Insyte is designed so that business data is scoped to the appropriate business and, where applicable, the appropriate website or property.
That isolation is enforced in the Insyte backend rather than only in the screens you see.
No.
Insyte is an intelligence and direction platform, not an automatic website editor.
It can identify issues, provide evidence and recommend actions, but you remain in control of changes to your website.
No.
No legitimate SEO system can guarantee a particular Google ranking.
Insyte helps you understand available search, website and business evidence and identify areas that may deserve action.
Results depend on many factors outside Insyte's control.
No.
Search & AI Readiness can help identify whether a website is positioned to be discovered and understood effectively.
It cannot guarantee that ChatGPT, Google AI, Copilot, Perplexity or any other AI or search provider will mention, cite or recommend a particular business.
Observed AI visibility is only reported where genuine evidence is available.
